These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website (wearericeandshine.com), our weekly meal prep subscription service, our catering services, and any text messaging, email, or other communications you receive from us. By placing an order, signing up for our mailing list, or opting in to text messages, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Services
Rice & Shine offers Southeast Asian home-cooking meal prep subscriptions and catering services, including weekly menu selection, order fulfillment via pickup or delivery within our defined delivery radius, and related communications.
2. Ordering & Payment
- –Weekly menus are announced on a recurring schedule, with an order cutoff time communicated at the time of the menu announcement.
- –Orders are confirmed once payment or payment confirmation is received.
- –Prices are subject to change and will be communicated prior to ordering.
- –We reserve the right to limit order quantities based on ingredient availability.
3. Delivery & Pickup
- –Delivery is available within our stated delivery radius; pickup is available at our designated location.
- –We will make reasonable efforts to deliver within the communicated time window but are not liable for delays outside our control (e.g., traffic, weather).
4. Cancellations & Changes
- –Orders may be modified or canceled before the weekly cutoff time by contacting us directly.
- –Orders cannot be guaranteed for changes or refunds after the cutoff time has passed.
5. Food Safety & Allergies
- –Our meals are prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens (including but not limited to peanuts, tree nuts, soy, shellfish, and gluten).
- –Customers with allergies or dietary restrictions are responsible for notifying us in advance; we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
- –Meals should be stored, handled, and reheated according to any instructions provided.
6. Text Message (SMS) Communications
By providing your phone number and opting in via our sign-up form, you agree to receive text messages from Rice & Shine, including weekly menu announcements, order confirmations, and delivery updates.
- –Message and data rates may apply.
- –Message frequency varies, typically no more than a few messages per week.
- –You may opt out at any time by replying BYE RICE or STOP, and may reply HELP for assistance.
- –Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse our website, ordering forms, or text messaging system, including by submitting false information or attempting to disrupt our services.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rice & Shine LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to delivery delays or product availability changes.
